Tutors using computers equipped with two different cameras (usually one front-facing and one rear-facing camera) can find that they enter a Cambly chat and are broadcasting a stream from the wrong camera. You can specify which camera Google Chrome and Cambly should default to the next time this happens.
You can check on your default camera settings and permissions on Google Chrome by using the guidelines here:
- Log in to your account on Cambly and navigate to your Dashboard or Tutor Warmup (any Cambly page that actively tries to use your camera/microphone will work).
- If you're not prompted to give permission in the corner near the URL bar, you can click on the camera icon and select the camera/microphone you'd like to give permission for:
Note: If you're using a Chrome device at work or school, your network administrator might set camera and microphone settings for you. In that case, you can't change them here.
